After the Second World war the UN allowed the Israelis to flee to Palestine, which it was called back then, and live there. Slowly but eventually the Israelis took over the land from the Palestinians and now they govern the country. Palestine is nowadays not recognized by the UN as an official country. The feelings about who’s country or what really should have happened are really sensible. I think there is a truth to both sides of this conflict. You can’t say that one of the two is right and therefore is eligible to govern the whole country. Nationalism is something that can’t be taken away in a short amount of time. It is logical that both sides are attached to their country and do not want to give up the fight. However, when they will continue in this way, they will never ever find a way to end it.
